Warner Tree Plantings ~ Join Master Naturalist Tim Nelson for a free family friendly healthy nature walk. We will look at areas where Wild Warner volunteers are help Madison Parks with tree plantings, removing invasives, protecting certain trees from beavers, and other nature restoration activities. How are new tree plantings around the lagoon and restoration in Warner Woods coming along? What kind of native Wisconsin tree species do you see? Learn how native trees benefit birds, bugs, and other wildlife as well as humans.
Walks at Warner Park held on the 3rd Sunday of every month are co-sponsored by Madison Bird City FUN partners Wild Warner and Madison Audubon . Meet at the colorful Warner Park shelter by the lagoon. Parking is available nearby. No registration is required. No pets are allowed.
