Course Description

This course provides training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in construction. Join me to learn more about avoiding, controlling, and preventing workplace hazards in the organization. Participants will receive an OSHA 30-hour Construction Certificate of Completion card.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Introduction to OSHA: Employees will learn the who, what, where, when and why of the Occupational Health and Safety Administration
  2. Focus Fours: Our class will journey through the four leading causes of injuries in the construction trade: Falls, Electrocutions, Struck-Bys, and Caught-In/or Between.
  3. Class Electives: Students will learn a variety of skills in the hazard recognition of multiple topics like: Excavations, Hand and Power Tools, Confined Space, Ladders, Cranes, Material Handling, Scaffolds, etc.
