Upcoming Service Changes - Bus Stops Impacted
The following stop updates will be implemented in the Fall with the launch of bus rapid transit.
Changes were approved by the City of Madison Transportation Commission on Wednesday, May 15.
Stop Closures and Relocations
The stops below will close/relocate with the launch of Rapid Route A in the Fall.
- Mineral Point at Junction (replaced by Junction BRT Station
- WB Mineral Point at Gammon
- WB Mineral Point at Memorial High School
- EB Campus at Babcock
- WB University at Randall
- EB Johnson at Charter relocated to Johnson at Orchard
- WB University at Park relocated to University and East Campus Mall
- SB Park at University relocated to University and East Campus Mall
- EB Johnson at Park relocated to Johnson and East Campus Mall
- WB University at Frances relocated to University and Bassett
- EB Johnson and Frances relocated to Bassett (estimated 2025 following construction)
- EB Johnson and Broom closed (estimated 2025 following construction)
- WB State at Johnson relocated to WB State at Gorham
- EB State at Fairchild relocated to EB State at Johnson
- East Washington at Ingersoll
- East Washington at Johnson
- East Washington at Eagan (contingent on new signal installed at Independence)
- East Washington at Zeier
