Where are you stationed? 
Station 6 (W. Badger Road) on the 'A' shift

Why did you want to pursue this career? 
I’ve always had a passion to serve and help people, and I knew there wouldn’t be a better way to do that than through serving the community on the fire department.

Why did you want to work for the Madison Fire Department?
The Madison Fire Department does a great job taking care of its firefighters, and the atmosphere of the city is exciting to work in every day.

What is something you’ve come to love about Madison or enjoy doing that is uniquely Madison? 
The people of Madison really care about their firefighters and we have a lot of support. Any time we are out, people are waving to us and telling us to be safe.

What advice would you give to someone hoping to join the MFD? 
Serve in any way possible. Join your local fire department, volunteer where you can, assist in community activities. These are ways that will make you stand out. Be your genuine self, and don’t forget to smile.
