E Mifflin Bike Blvd improvements at Transportation Commission mtg 7/31

Traffic Engineering staff are presenting two options for a diverter at the E Mifflin Bike Blvd at Paterson, at the 5p Transportation Commission on Wednesday July 31. Agenda and registration info see agenda #8. 

Staff reviewed comments from the June 3 virtual meeting and are making the following recommendations to the TC. If approved, implementation is scheduled for 2024. 

From Renee Callaway, TE Assistant Director: “Staff have determined that a diverter could be a good option worth trialing near the Reynolds Park intersection. We would like to run the test during August and September to capture higher bicycle usage times as well as school related traffic. We will be presenting the concept for review and feedback at this Wednesday’s Transportation Commission meeting with two different ways of setting up the diverter. I will be emailing everyone who signed up to attend the Transportation Commission to let them know.”
