Fireworks at Nakoma Golf Club This Evening - September 1st

Nakoma Golf Club will be having a fireworks display at dusk this evening in celebration of Labor Day.

I'm not a big fan of fireworks, particularly as they seem to be taking place all year around, not just around the 4th of July. The Madison Mallards had seven fireworks displays this year, and the booms could be heard in my neighborhood all the way from Warner Park. That's a bit much, in my humble opinion, given the impacts on those suffering from PTSD as well as pets. 

At any rate, Nakoma Golf Club received a permit for their display.
