Writing Your Life
Event Description
We all have stories to tell, stories about our life experiences, stories about our friends, stories about our families. Some of those stories encompass the joys
of achievement, celebration, milestone moments, and the joy of love. Others detail the harder parts of life, jealousy, betrayal, sadness, loss. Our stories define us. Through the Greater Madison Writing Project’s “Writing Your Life” workshops, we help you find the stories you want to tell and give you writing
strategies to craft them into the stories that you want to share. Our writing workshops incorporate several different writing strategies.
Each 90-minute session includes exploration of different strategies and opportunities to write and seek feedback, and time to share writing in a welcoming and enthusiastic community. Led by Mark Nepper.
