 New Developments

Carpenter @ East Washington, proposed

Look for a blue public notice postcard regarding the first public meeting regarding a new property being proposed by  Volker Development at the corner of Carpenter and East Washington Avenue.

The meeting will be held on November 19 at 6 pm at Hawthorne Library.  Please come to learn more, ask questions, give them feedback and input.

Pennsylvania Apartments, proposed

Bear Development is in the process of working on a 650+ unit building near East Johnson and 1st Street  on Pennsylvania (near the soon to be Madison Public Market).

Although Bear has not had their first community focused public meeting (they’ve been working with the common council office to coordinate the date and time of this in-person meeting) they opted to make a short presentation to the NorthStreet Neighborhood Association (this past Thursday).  Here is the presentation they sent to the NorthStreet Neighborhood Association.

Stay tuned for details and the opportunity to fully participate in with questions comments or feedback and input.
