Free Ice Skating Fun This Weekend!

Looking to get outdoors this weekend? Madison Parks has free ice skating events planned and you're invited! 

Groove & Glide

Get your groove on at Groove & Glide on Friday night. Ice skate under the stars with fun music and games at Heritage Heights Park from 6-8pm. All ages and experience levels are welcome.

Skate Cinema

Join us for ice skating and a movie at Skate Cinema at Olbrich Park! We'll have music for ice skating from 4:00 to 5:30pm followed by the movie Frozen II at 5:30pm. Bring a lawn chair and a blanket and make it an evening. Ice skating will be allowed while the movie is playing and we plan to have an outdoor firepit for warming up, too!

Both events are free to attend and no registration is required. Both locations will have a limited number of loaner skates to borrow while at the event.

Skate Rentals and Concessions 

We’ll have staff for skate rentals and concessions at Elver, Tenney and Vilas Thursday and Friday, 4-8pm; Saturday 12-8pm, and Sunday, 12-6pm. The winter recreation season is winding down. We will have ice maintenance through Sunday, February 16, as conditions allow.
