It’s Your Last Day to Vote for Snowplow Names
You have until 8:00pm today, February 24, 2025 to make your choices for the names of the six snowplowing vehicles.
Will the six plows be named Jump Plowround; Snowy Tribbiani; Frank Plowed Right; Leslie Snowpe; Auntie Freeze; and Juuuust a Blizz Outside? Or will their names be something else entirely? There are a lot of options, and the choice is yours.
Where can I vote, or see more about the vehicles?
The election is available on the Wisconsin Salt Wise website.
You can see more details about the plows, including all of the candidate names, on the Streets Division’s plow naming website.
When will the winners be announced?
The names will be revealed as soon as we have name tags of the winners for the vehicles available. If everything proceeds as expected, the election results will be unveiled in a little over one week's time.
Will there be another edition of plow cards for the new names?
Yes, we do plan on doing another batch of cards for the named plows like we did with the previous named equipment.
We do not have a timeline on when the new batch of cards will be ready. They will take time to design and print. We will make an announcement when they are available, though it may take a long time – they may not be ready until the winter of 2025/2026. Your patience is appreciated.
