Stop Bugging Me ~ Join Master Naturalist Alex Singer for a fun and educational family friendly nature walk at Aldo Leopold Nature Center and Edna Taylor Park to look for and learn about interesting bugs! The amazing variety of insects and arthropods that live on plants, in the soil, and in the air are the most numerous and diverse of critters, each occupying different habitat niches and performing different ecological functions. Use a guidebook or app like Seek to help you identify and learn about different bugs you see and post your observations on iNaturalist!
Join a naturalist for an easy family-friendly walk from Aldo Leopold Nature Center into beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park and enjoy a bit of nature education along the way. Walk will begin at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, 330 Femrite Drive. Meet outside at the Children's Shack. Co-sponsored by Madison Parks, Badgerland Bird Alliance, and Aldo Leopold Nature Center . No registration is required. No pets are allowed.
