Join Us in Making a Difference 

We seek passionate individuals and groups committed to giving back to the community and connecting with The Glen. Gain experience, foster personal growth, and build relationships within the community.  

Available Volunteer Roles 

• Land Stewardship: weeding, planting, seed collection, woody plant removal
• Horticultural Detailing: maintaining landscape beds, mulching, weeding
• Golf Course Beautification: litter and debris removal
• Programming Support: event setup, greeters, ambassadors, lead children's activities
• Mentor: help new players build confidence and learn course etiquette in a welcoming environment

Flexible Volunteering Hours 

• Monday to Friday: 6am - 2pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 6 - 10am
• Other times may be available upon coordination.  

How to Get Started 

1. View Volunteer on the City of Madison Parks Division website.
2. Complete steps one and two to register as a volunteer.
3. See Golf & Recreation Spaces for current opportunities.
4. After volunteering, return to the website to complete step three to track your hours.
