The Kestrel Park Development Plan was approved by the Board of Park Commissioners at their June 14, 2023 meeting.
Background
The City of Madison Parks Division is undertaking a Park Development Plan effort for Kestrel Park. The Park Development Plan will include general locations of future park amenities based upon input received from the community.
Kestrel Park is designated as a mini park, totaling 2.16 acres of land and was acquired by the Parks Division in 2015. A mini park is described as a park with fewer than 5 acres and used to address limited, isolated, or unique recreational needs.
