Winter Parking Rules

The City follows alternate side parking November 15 – March 15.

Alternate side parking requires you to park on a specific side of the street overnight based on the date. This helps us plow the streets. The side of the street is determined by the date at 1:00am.

  • On odd numbered days from 1:00am – 7:00am, park on the side of the street with odd house numbers.
  • On even numbered days from 1:00am – 7:00am, park on the side of the street with even house numbers.

Where do I park?

Park on the side of the street with even house numbers on 11/22/2024 from 1:00am – 7:00am.

If you park in the Snow Emergency Zone, you only need to follow alternate side parking during a Declared Snow Emergency.

Get Text Reminders

Subscribe to daily parking reminders by text message. You will receive a text every day at 5:00pm telling you where to park.

Would you like us to keep your phone number confidential?

Wisconsin Public Records Laws may require us to provide your phone number to third parties. If you choose "Yes", you are requesting that we treat your phone number as confidential, and we will not release it to public records requests.

Exceptions

Snow Emergency Zone

If you park in the Snow Emergency Zone, you only need to follow alternate side parking during a Declared Snow Emergency.

Streets with parking on only one side

On streets where parking is always restricted to one side of the street for the entire block, alternate side parking rules do not apply.

Streets where parking is restricted to one side of the street for part of the block must follow alternate side parking rules.

Cul-de-sacs without even and odd numbers

Most cul-de-sacs have even and odd house numbers, and you must follow alternate side parking.

If your cul-de-sac does not have even and odd house numbers, check the cul-de-sac parking list for more information.
