National Senior Center Month

posted

September is National Senior Center Month—your opportunity to promote a positive image of aging, share with friend and family how your center improves the lives of older adults, and show your center’s importance in the community. This year’s theme for National Senior Center Month is Powering Connections. Senior centers play a crucial role in offering support and resources to older adults. They have become central to health care delivery, providing guidance on COVID-19, vaccine education, and administering vaccinations. Senior centers also offer a space where older adults can be in community with each other and explore their unique interests, talents, and goals.

Join us at our Health Resource Fair on Tuesday, September 24th, 9:30 am - 12:00 pm to celebrate Senior Center Month.
