Bassett Street Corridor Study

Bassett Street at Main Street
Bassett Street at Main Street

Project Description

The City plans to resurface and replace utilities on Bassett Street between Dayton Street and West Washington Avenue in 2019. Water main breaks and deteriorated pavement over the last year have made this project a priority. As part of the project planning, a corridor transportation study is in progress for the length of Bassett Street and Wilson Street between Bassett Street and Broom Street. The purpose of this study is to identify how street cross section elements will be laid out before the two blocks of North Bassett Street are designed for reconstruction. Public input is encouraged through the meetings below and by contacting city staff directly.
