Municipal Services Payment Portal

The City of Madison uses an online Municipal Services payment portal for all bill pay.

If you would like to use e-billing, auto-pay, or receive water use notifications, you will need to create a new account and sign up for these features.

Pay Your Bill

  • Online

    Create an account, or pay as a guest. You can sign up for e-billing and auto-pay.

    Pay Online

    Credit and debit cards: Card payments have a $2.95 service fee. There is a $500 payment maximum for credit cards. There is no maximum for debit cards.

    Checking and Savings Accounts (eCheck): There is no fee for eCheck payments.

  • Pay by Phone

    Call 1-877-822-8414 to pay your bill by phone.

  • Mail

    Make a check payable to the City Treasury. Mail the check and the bill stub to:

    We accept cash, check, money orders, debit or credit (MasterCard, Visa, or Discover). There is no fee for in-person credit or debit card, cash, or check payments.
