About Alder Yannette Figueroa Cole
I grew up in Puerto Rico and have lived in Madison for almost 30 years. My passion for service has inspired my active participation in our community as a volunteer and healthcare data professional.
In our district, I have served as Treasurer and President of Dunn's Marsh Neighborhood Association. I have spent years serving people experiencing homelessness through the Beacon and Friends of the State Street Families as Outreach Specialist and more recently as a board member. After Hurricane Maria, I worked to establish the Puerto Rico Relief Fund of South Central WI, successfully raising over $90K in the Madison area to support grassroots relief organizations on the island.
Professionally, I have over two decades in the healthcare & medical devices manufacturing field as a system administrator, data analyst, business process mapping analyst, integration lead, and financial reporting.
My experience working with families in strife offers me a perspective on the critical issues we face together. I'm proud to have the support of those who know I will work side by side with them towards achieving healthy and safe communities in a way that serves everyone equally.
