posted

Back in January 2020, I shared a blog about approving engineering projects. This blog post is yet another opportunity for us to learn about city processes and website navigation. Knowledge is power!

This blog covers:

1- NEIGHBORHOOD CONSTRUCTION PROJECT LOOKUP

2-PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS

3-CONTRACT 8709/PROJECT 14079 - DONCASTER BEVERLY DANBURY

There are multiple ways to search for contracts.

1-I know the contract or project number—Use the city site search box, enter the contract or project number, and click search. A list of related items will include a link to the contract.

2-I don't know the contract or project number but have a general idea of the contract location—Use this link to search by a nearby address or Aldermanic district. This page can also be accessed from the cityofmadison.com site. From the Department's list, click on Public Works. Scroll down the page, click on the Public Works Contracts icon, and click on the Neighborhood Lookup tab.

  2. The conventional sign is a general legend that applies across the plan.
  3. The project and contract identify the plan.
  4. The city's professional staff is legally responsible for reviewing, approving, modifying, and rejecting plans.
