Plans Document Overview:
- The plan is a series of stand-alone sheets that provide the contractor with specifications for the project. The Index of Sheets is organized by project categories, such as "G" for Green infrastructure and "PD" for Plan Details.
- The conventional sign is a general legend that applies across the plan.
- The project and contract identify the plan.
- The city's professional staff is legally responsible for reviewing, approving, modifying, and rejecting plans.
- The excavation summary is included on the plan's first page; the estimated undistributed undercut is calculated based on the Soil Boring test results from the document list.
Plan Details Sheet Overview:
- The header of the page is on the right margin. It contains the sheet number (PD-5), Project/Contract id, and the street name associated with the plan detail (Plan Detail Doncaster Drive)
- The plan detail sheet also contains a legend for the plan design.
- Notes highlight standard practices and contract requirements.
- Changes to the original plan are also highlighted.
