Update from the Madison Parks Regarding Burrows Park

The Madison Parks Department asked that we share this information with you.  Please share as appropriate

The Madison Parks department is planning to remove and reconstruct the parking lot at Burrows Park. 

Due to natural and cultural resource concerns, we will not rebuild the parking lot and driveways in the same location and shape as they exist today.

Parks will host a Virtual Public Information Meeting on June 20th  from 5pm until 6:30pm. 

If you live within a ¼ mile of the park you should receive a  postcard  soon.  

In addition, Parks is creating a project specific survey which will be available  on June 1, 2024 and close on close on July 1, 2024.

The preliminary survey data will be presented at a  public meeting on June 20th  with the final data for the  project posted to the website by July 4th.
