Many thanks to everyone who has shared feedback during any of the engagement opportunities for the Northeast Area Plan. I'd like to encourage you to attend one of 4 upcoming opportunities to review the DRAFT plan. It's a great opportunity to see how your collective feedback helped to shape the future of the Northeast area. You'll also of course be able to share your feedback with staff and any Alders (including myself) in attendance.

Recent shooting at Reindahl Park:
As you've likely read, there was a shooting around 9:30pm on Sunday at Reindahl Park. While the actual park is located in District 12, I'm sure the many neighboring residents in District 17 find this incident to be just as troubling as I do. Madison Police Department has noted that the suspect was a relative of the victim and has already been arrested. Thanks to the East District for their updates and quick work on this incident.
As I am working on sharing some updates regarding engagements in the district, I would encourage you to share any suggestions you may have with me on what you'd like to see happening at the park and I'll be sure to continue reaching out to the Alder for District 12 for ways we might work together.
