About Alder Regina Vidaver (she/her)
Alder Regina Vidaver (she/her) was elected in April 2021. Prior to election to the Common Council, she served as a resident member of the Madison Food Policy Council, Healthy Retail Access Program, and the Regional Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Work Group. She also has served on the Madison Metropolitan School District Advanced Learning Advisory Committee, and the Board of Directors for Beth Israel Center.
Professionally, Alder Vidaver oversees statewide chronic disease and cancer prevention programs for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Division of Public Health. Previous career experience includes research program management at the Unversity of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, non-profit management, and science writing.
Alder Vidaver seeks to apply her experience with health equity, compassionate leadership, strategic planning and budgetary management to advancing our shared city values.
