Announcements

  • The Streets Division’s drop-off site located at 1501 W. Badger Road will be closing on March 25, 2022 for a construction project. Residents will not be able to use the Badger Road drop-off site while it is closed for construction. The site will remain closed until at least the spring of 2023. Read more here.

  • Set-out dates for spring yard waste collection are now available. Read more here. Learn when to set out your yard waste for pickup by visiting the Streets Division website, www.cityofmadison.com/yardwaste.

  • As you prepare for the Spring Election on April 5, the City of Madison Clerk’s Office wants to remind you what types of photo ID you can use for voting in Wisconsin. Click here to learn more and see a list of acceptable forms of photo ID.

Atwood Avenue/Olbrich Path Reconstruction Public Input Meetings

A virtual public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 22 at 6pm. In preparation for the meeting the City is looking for input on the potential path alignments through Olbrich Park. More information on registering to attend the meeting, the survey and alignment options is available on the Atwood Ave Project Page.

The alternatives will also be discussed the following evening at the Transportation Commission here and at the Board of Park Commissioners for a final recommendation on 4/13. Thanks to all who have filled out the survey and please consider taking it if you haven't already.
