Project Overview

This project is for improvements to the former Town of Madison Town Hall site and facilities at 2120 Fish Hatchery Road. The goal of this project is to repair and improve the Town Hall site and facilities to temporarily accommodate various City agencies in need of additional space. Projects planned for 2023 and 2024 include salvage and removal of existing contents, exterior enclosure repair to protect from air and water intrusion, finishes and furnishings work, emergency egress lighting upgrades, parking lot patching, and miscellaneous projects to meet building code requirements.

July 30, 2024 Update

Quarter 3 Update

April 1, 2024 Update

Qtr. 2 Update
Facilities Staff is meeting with Madison, Police, Property/Evidence, and Madison Parks to determine space needs to be considered in the future re-development of the site.  This space need study and planning will continue during quarters 2 and 3 in 2024. 

March 12, 2024 Update

On Wednesday, March 13, 2024 a geological drilling company will be on the site at 2120 Fish Hatchery Road.  The drilling and geotechnical engineering testing companies will be sampling and analyzing seven test bores throughout the property to check the structural integrity of the sub soils for possible future site developments.  Additionally there be three test pits as required by city ordinance to determine the suitability of soils for storm water management associated with any future site development.  All disturbances will be restored on completion of the testing.
