Accepted Payments
- We only accept citations issued by the City of Madison. You may not make a payment for citations issued by anyone else, such as the Sheriff's Department, UW Police, City of Fitchburg Police, Town of Madison Police, Wisconsin State Patrol, Village of Maple Bluff Police, etc.

Parking Tickets: You can only pay your parking ticket here if you have a court order from the City of Madison Municipal Court. If you do not have a court order, pay your parking ticket here.
Solo puede pagar una citación de estacionamiento aquí si tiene un orden de la corte municipal de la cuidad de Madison. Si no tiene un orden judicial, hay que pagar la citación aquí (en Inglés).
Convenience Fee
There is a 2.75% convenience fee on all credit or debit card transactions. There is no fee on checking or savings account (eCheck) transactions. Payment can also be made by mail or in person at the Municipal Court Office. Please see Ways to Make Municipal Court Payments for information on paying in person or by mail, or requesting more time to pay or a payment plan.
Applying Payments
Payments are reported to the Municipal Court by approximately 3:45 p.m. the following business day after the payment is made online. If you need to have the payment applied more quickly than that, you will need to pay in person at the Municipal Court office. If your driver's license has been suspended, you will need to wait an additional 72 hours for the release to clear at the Department of Motor Vehicles before you reinstate your license.
