First Street Closure

Beginning Monday, December 5, Intercon Construction co. will be closing the northbound lanes of First Street between E. Main Street and East Washington Ave and outbound lanes on East Washington Avenue. Two outbound lanes will be open on East Washington Avenue during peak traffic hours. Work will include excavation and installation of underground access structures to facilitate construction on East Washington Avenue next summer. The project is expected to take approximately 10 days, depending on weather conditions.
