Goodman Pool and Beach Lifeguard Seasons coming to an end this weekend

As the summer comes to an end, so do the Goodman Pool and Beach Season come to an end. The Goodman Pool and Madison beach season corresponds with the Madison School District's summer recess. Goodman Pool, 325 Olin Ave., will close for the summer season on Sunday, September 2 at 6:00p.m. The pool will be open, weather permitting, Thursday-Saturday, 12:30p.m. - 8:00p.m. and Sunday 12:30p.m. - 6:00p.m. The four major beaches (BB Clarke, Tenney, Vilas and Olbrich Parks) will remain open through Monday, September 3. These four beaches have daily lifeguard service from 11a.m.-6p.m. After Labor Day, people are still welcome to swim in the lakes, but there will be no lifeguards on duty.
