Live at The Glen: WI Dells Singers and Dance Troupe

Madison Parks and Madison Parks Foundation are honored to partner with Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison to bring the community an evening of enrichment and entertainment. Join us for Live at The Glen for an interactive evening of celebration! This free event will feature Ho-Chunk pageantry along with some audience engagement.

As seen at Concerts on the Square and the Overture Center for the Arts, the Wisconsin Dells Singers & Dance Troupe featuring Elliott Funmaker of the Ho-Chunk and Meskwaki Nations perform traditional songs, stories, and dances of the Ho-Chunk people.

Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison gratefully welcomes all opportunities to partner with municipal organizations in Madison (TeeJop) to educate and bring awareness of the Indigenous people, the Ho-Chunkgra (Ho-Chunk people), of TeeJop, its land and history. Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison’s hope is all communities of TeeJop will be proud of its ancestral people’s rich heritage and long-standing history.

The Glen Golf Park, known since 1927 as Glenway Golf Course was reimagined and renovated to create a unique mixed-use outdoor recreation golf park reopened on July 1, 2022. Through the ongoing partnership with the Madison Parks Foundation, along with the shared vision and generous financial and in-kind contributions of many community members, the golf park offers a dynamic blend of programmed activities. The redesigned 9-hole golf course is suitable for first-timers and long-time golfers alike. The updated patio area is a fully accessible gathering space. The Glen House, was also recently renovated to provide accessible restrooms and service window along with overall improved guest experiences and expanded merchandise options. In addition to the upcoming Ho-Chunk exhibition, a variety of activities have been offered since The Glen reopened, including a movie series, a performing arts series sponsored by Madison Parks Foundation featuring a variety of local live musicians and introductory Barre 3 classes in partnership with Friends of Lake Wingra.
