Event Update: BCycle Ribbon Cutting and Community Event Canceled

posted

Dear Constituents,

I have some important updates to share regarding the BCycle station event that was scheduled for today, Tuesday, June 4th. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we have had to cancel the event.

However, I have great news! The BCycle station is already installed at Warner Park at the Duck Pond, just in time for Mallards baseball and women's softball season. You can start using the BCycle station right away.

Event Details

Original Plan:

  • 4:30pm: Ribbon cutting at the new station with comments from Alders/Mayor, BCycle, and Big Top Sports.
  • 4:45pm: Pizza from Ian’s for attendees.
  • 5pm-6pm: Transportation-focused family carnival featuring BCycle rides and showcases from other bike, bus, and carpool partners.

Future Plans

While we currently do not have a new date scheduled for the ribbon cutting and community-focused event, we will keep you informed of any updates. We are committed to celebrating this exciting addition to our community at a later date if possible.

Stay Engaged

Please enjoy the new BCycle station and take advantage of this great resource in our district. Thank you for your understanding and patience. We look forward to celebrating with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Alder Charles Myadze
