We have a new road construction project underway in the West District this week with lane restrictions on Gammon Rd from the West Beltline to Mineral Point Rd.  Remember, It is illegal to talk on a handheld mobile device while driving in a Wisconsin road work zone.

Texting/Emailing While Driving, 346.89(3)(a) / $114.40 and pts

MPD's Traffic Enforcement Safety Team will be monitoring the area and paying particular attention to cell phone use in the construction zone.  Please slow down through this area, watch for pedestrians and construction workers and give as much of your attention as possible to the road.
