Today, a community outreach event was held at "The Heights" (2206 University Ave.), where MPD officers teamed up with members of the Community Policing Advisory Board. The event included fun activities for kids, such as taking photos with Santa, making cookies, and fostering positive interactions with the police. Sponsored by the Madison Community Policing Foundation, CORE, Midtown Police District, and the Advisory Board, this event aimed to strengthen trust and build relationships within the Midtown District community.
