A Traffic Signal is the red, yellow, or green lights which control traffic at an intersection.

To report an out-of-order Traffic Signal during normal business hours (Monday – Friday: 8am – 4pm), please call Traffic Engineering at (608) 266‑4767. During all other times, call 911.

Street Lights

A Street Light is a fixture on a pole that lights the street.

To report a Street Light out during normal business hours (Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm), please call Traffic Engineering at (608) 266‑4767 or report it online.

Traffic Signs

To report a Stop or Yield sign down during normal business hours (Monday – Friday: 8am – 4pm), please call Traffic Engineering at (608) 266‑4767. During all other times, call 911. Note: This applies only to Stop and Yield signs.
