Madison Parks Moves to Olin Park
Project Overview
This project is the design and construction of the Parks Division offices at the existing building located at 330 E Lakeside Street. The existing building will serve as the new location for Parks Division offices with potential to provide rentable spaces for community and private events. The building requires system upgrades, ADA and other health and safety compliance modifications, workspace updates, architectural upgrades, rental space improvements, and site improvements. A phased approach will be utilized to complete the work and only Phase 1 will be implemented under this contract. Feb. 4, 2022: Construction crews have been busy with demolition of existing walls and ceilings, restrooms, ductwork, mechanical equipment. Interior demolition is now complete and rough-ins for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems have begun. Framing for new walls will start in mid-February.
March 29, 2022: Walls have been framed and drywall is finishing up. The new spaces are taking shape. Paint will begin this week. The new elevator shaft has been constructed to the ceiling on the inside. The elevator overrun will be constructed next week.
June 07, 2022: The site and parking lot improvements are being completed. The interior is being painted and finishes are being installed. The space is taking shape.

Construction Start Date: Approximately Nov. 1, 2021
Expected Completion Date: July 1, 2022
LEED Goals: LEED Silver v4.1 minimum "All information regarding dates/times/locations are informational and should be verified with official bidding documents posted on Bid Express."
