Sun Prairie Service Changes

Service changes

Now in Effect

Due to the implementation of Metro's new bus rapid transit buses on Route A, schedules needed to be reorganized on Routes S and W to account for standard-size buses being used in Sun Prairie.

Updated schedules are at the links below.

  • Route S - Schedules shift approximately 15 minutes.
  • Route W - Bus interlining changes.

Other Service Changes on September 22

  • Stop closures and relocations along the Rapid Route A line
  • Bus stop adjustments - local stops that will still be open, but will no longer be served by Routes A, B or F because these routes will be using articulated buses serving the center-running platforms.
  • Routes F and R night and weekend terminal moved to Sheboygan and Segoe, instead of Sheboygan and Eau Claire.
  • New Route B terminal on Troy Dr. at the Culver's.
  • Stop closures for Routes R, 28 and 38 along University Ave. - University Ave. between U. Bay and Segoe Rd., will become a limited stop zone for Routes R, 28 and 38. These routes will only stop at U. Bay, Ridge and Segoe Rd. This is necessary to keep traffic moving efficiently and safely on University Ave., so Metro buses do not block traffic in multiple lanes of University Ave. This change results in two sets of stop closures: University at Shorewood, and University at Midvale.
