E Mifflin Diverter Project
October 1, 2024 Update
A test of a motor vehicle traffic diverter at E Mifflin and S Paterson will be installed the week of October 14, 2024.
The test is anticipated to last until mid-November. Data on traffic volumes and speeds on E Mifflin St and E Dayton St have been collected before installation of the diverter and will also be collected after trial installation. The public is also encouraged to provide feedback.
Project Overview
This project focuses on improvements to the East Mifflin Bike Boulevard which provides an important connection to residences on the near eastside of Madison as well as providing an alternative to riding on East Washington Ave to reach destinations along this major corridor.
