East Madison Bikeway Enhancement Projects
Prior to implementation of the BRT East/West system, the bicycle facilities along E. Washington Ave. were high-stress and generally inadequate relative to current City standards. Additionally, with the BRT project, those bike lanes are now utilized as part of a travel lane during peak hours. This project focuses on better connecting low-stress routes and providing options during peak hours.
Projects include:
- E Mifflin Bike Boulevard Improvements
- E Washington near Sparkle Ct Widened Sidewalk
- Winnebago Ave Bicycle Connection Improvements
- Hoard Street Bike Boulevard
